Marianna Angel (b. 1992) is a Swiss-Colombian musician based in Basel. A classically trained pianist, Angel works as a performer, composer, and interdisciplinary artist. Her electro-acoustic sets are frequently presented in art institutions and museums, including Fondation Beyeler, Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, Helmhaus Zürich, Galerie Janiszewsky Berlin, Various Others Munich, and Centre Culturel Paris, among others.

Her influences span a range of composers and musicians, from classical figures such as Olivier Messiaen, Maurice Ravel, and Julius Eastman to pioneering synth artists like Éliane Radigue, Laurie Spiegel, and Wendy Carlos.

She is a member of the duo Soland Angel, with whom she released the EP Rotten Flowers Shiny Shoes in December 2024. The EP was completed during a residency at Cité des Arts in Paris.

Beginning in September 2025, Angel will join the faculty of the Hochschule der Künste Bern, where she will teach piano and electronic keyboard in the Sound Arts department.
